A free psychology, psychiatry and psychopedagogical service has enabled the Rómulo Gallegos Municipal Clinical Center in San Juan de los Morros, in the state of Guárico, 24 hours a day to deal with the emotional consequences of the population after the double earthquake that affected the country on June 24.
Through her social networks, Mayor Katherine Guanipa reported that this mental health deployment seeks to immediately address the anxiety crisis, panic disorders and sleep disorders resulting from tremors, local press highlights.
Guanipa announced the activation of the home service to ensure that assistance reaches the most vulnerable people. A multidisciplinary team of specialists will travel directly to communities to evaluate and treat patients who require it.
