This Sunday, the state of Guárico joined the historic day of the II National Popular Consultation 2025, an event that reaffirms the commitment of the Venezuelan people to participatory and leading democracy. In this consultation, residents have the opportunity to vote for priority projects that will directly impact their communities.

The community spokeswoman for the Guárico state highlighted the importance of this process, making an emphatic appeal to the inhabitants and members of the region's 14 communal councils: “It is essential that we all actively participate in this consultation. We have worked as an organized community to reach a consensus on the proposals we are presenting today. These proposals, which include health improvements and the construction of a communal house, represent direct benefits to our community. However, we respect the decision of each citizen to vote for the proposal they deem most appropriate.”

The spokeswoman also urged the population to put aside apathy and participate with enthusiasm: “It's valid to ask people to stop being lazy and come and vote. This project, promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, provides us with the opportunity to organize and obtain tangible benefits for our communities. Active participation is key to the success of these initiatives.”
