The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, recognized this Tuesday the courage of opposition mayors who have come out to express their support for the candidacy of Nicolás Maduro.
In this regard, during the March in Support of Candidate Nicolás Maduro in San Juan de Los Morros, in Guárico, he welcomed the mayor of the Juan Germán Roscio municipality, Sulme Ávila, who was part of the courageous statements issued by this group of opponents.
He also emphasized that this Tuesday five opposition mayors from the state of Trujillo joined in support of the candidacy of Nicolás Maduro.
“They decided to say no to violence and come out as independent to support President Nicolás Maduro, the candidate of the Fatherland, the candidate of hope and peace,” he emphasized.
He reaffirmed that since the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez, the Bolivarian Revolution has always opened its doors to those who have wanted to join in working for the Fatherland. “It is one of the main characteristics of the Revolution, the permanent inclusion of Venezuelans and Venezuelans,” he stressed.
