Venezuelan rhythmic gymnastics won three gold medals and three bronze medals in the South American Championship of the discipline that was held at the Municipal Pavilion of Cochabamba, Bolivia, from last Thursday to Sunday, September 14 as a route to prepare the senior national team for the XX Bolivarian Games of Ayacucho-Lima 2025 in November.

Venezuela attended with a delegation of 20 gymnasts in different categories, which highlighted the results in the senior elite, which are directly related to the medals to be contested in the upcoming games.

During this contest, the first medal for Venezuela was Jimena Domínguez's routine to win gold in the individual All Round with a total score of 99,100, while Alejandra Montilla ranked tenth with 84,450, followed by Luciana Caraballo with 83,350.

The second medal came in the RGI team event where Domínguez, Montilla and Caraball won the bronze medal for a total of 227,950, while the Argentines managed to dominate the race with 242,200 and silver went to Brazil with 228,250.

Domínguez extended the harvest by collecting two more bronze medals with the hoop and clubs, where he won 24,000 and 24,450 respectively, projecting her as the best gymnast in the Bolivarian area for Ayacucho-Lima 2025.

For their part, in the five-film group category, Gabriela Rodríguez, Kaily Ramírez, María Escobar, Mariana Dona and Samantha Rojas climbed the highest step of the podium with the best score of the season in this event with 17,350.

Finally, this same team repeated victory in the three-ball plus two rings category with 20,000 accountants, while the Brazilian representatives totaled 19,950 and the Albiceleste with 19,350.
