The Palestinian movements HAMAS and Islamic Jihad demanded that the Israeli regime begin the second phase of the truce in the Gaza Strip without limitations or conditions.
According to information detailed by the press, a representative of the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement HAMAS, headed by Mohamad Darwish, met in Doha, capital of Qatar, with members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, with the objective of discussing progress in the implementation of the ceasefire pact with Israel in the Gaza Strip.
During the meeting, they valued the Palestinian people, their sacrifices and their capacity for resistance, and they paid tribute to their martyred leaders who gave their lives in the conflict with Israel. They also underscored the courage of the Palestinian Resistance in confronting the Israeli occupation and its crimes in the coastal area, according to a HAMAS statement.
“Both delegations discussed the progress of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, the repeated violations of (the truce by the) occupation and the meetings held over the past two days to resume negotiations,” the note added.
