HAMAS and Israel announce releases for Saturday

The Zionist government of Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) announced the release of kidnapped persons for next Saturday, February 15, as part of an agreement reached within the framework of the current ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The Office for Palestinian Prisoner Affairs of HAMAS announced that Israel will release 369 Palestinians, while the Islamist group will hand over three Israeli hostages.

In a statement, HAMAS specified that “after the Palestinian resistance handed over the names of the Zionist prisoners, 36 prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and 333 prisoners from the Gaza Strip arrested after October 7 will be released.”

The release occurs within the framework of the first phase of the exchange agreement.
