The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) announced the release next Saturday of 6 captives of the Zionist government in exchange for the release of 602 Palestinian prisoners within the framework of the exchange agreement with Israel.
According to information published by Hispantv, these are 50 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment, 60 sentenced to long prison terms, 47 prisoners released in the Wafa al-Ahrar prisoner exchange in 2011 and then recaptured.
Another 45 residents of the Gaza Strip who were arrested during the Israeli war against the Palestinians after October 7, 2023.
Abu Obeida, spokesperson for the Ezzedin Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed force of HAMAS, said in a statement that they decided to release tomorrow (Saturday) six Israeli captives: Omer Shem-Tov, Tal Shoham, Eliya Cohen, Avera Mengistu, Hisham al-Sayed and Omer Wenkert.
