Last Wednesday, through a statement, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) backed the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). And he assured that this vote is an expression of the genuine international will to support the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.
HAMAS considered that the most important of these rights was “the right to self-determination and to the establishment of an independent (Palestinian) State with (the occupied holy city of) Al-Quds as its capital”.
“This resolution is a significant victory for our people and highlights the level of isolation faced by the Zionist terrorist entity,” he said.
HAMAS concluded its statement by calling on the countries that voted in favor of this resolution “to take measures and decisions that isolate the fascist occupying entity and pressure it to stop its genocidal war” against the Palestinian people.
