HAMAS confirmed the start of the ceasefire in Gaza

After two years of genocide carried out by the Zionist Israeli occupying forces, a ceasefire officially came into effect in the Gaza Strip at 12:00 (local time) this Thursday, as reported by Telesur, after citing several media outlets.

For their part, Al Mayadeen and the Quds News Network platform, as well as the HAMAS Al-Qassam Brigades channel on Telegram, point out that the measure, agreed after several days of negotiations between the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas and Israel, began at 12 o'clock in Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

The Al-Qassam Brigades said on their Telegram channel: “The ceasefire begins in Gaza. Cries of Allahu Akbar (God is Great) and howls in Gaza, from inside the tents and through the rubble, raising signs of victory”.

In two years, Zionist Israeli occupying forces killed more than 67,194 Palestinians and injured 169,890, mostly minors, women and older adults, based on the most recent report by Gazan health authorities

Israeli media reported that the ceasefire in Gaza will be formalized once the Israeli Government ratifies it at a cabinet meeting scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
