Head of Government of Caracas highlights the value of Venezuelan women

The head of Government of the Capital District, Nahun Fernández, assured that when a woman advances, no man regresses, which is why he plays a fundamental role in the defense of the Homeland.

“How embarrassed a man could feel if a woman fierce in combat advances and the man in the back running, that's not possible,” Fernández said during the mobilization to commemorate International Women's Day.

The Head of Government recalled in New York that a group of women were murdered for claiming their rights, quite the opposite of what is happening in Venezuela, “here they march with joy, in gratitude to the giant Hugo Chávez and to the great protector such as President Nicolás Maduro who loves and respects Venezuelan women,” he added.

“The Bible says that if salt loses its flavor who would salt the earth and I say women are like salt because they are the moral institution of a society, those who build the future and if that fundamental essence of life is lost it is because the fundamental essence of women has been lost,” she said.
