Head of State activated civic-military-police plan “Bolivarian Fury” to confront coup plotters

This Thursday, during a working day with the Congress of the New Epoch as part of the 7T debate, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, warned that the “fascism of surnames” is in an uproar in its coup madness financed from abroad and emphasized that the People in civic-military union will defeat them again.

“Although they were prepared by the CIA, the DEA and government intelligence officials of the Colombian army, those involved in the conspiracy of January 1st were captured and the 4 conspiracies were unveiled, so we have given the order to reactivate the UPAS and the civilian-military-police plan Bolivarian Furia, state by state, municipality by municipality, parish by parish, neighborhood by neighborhood, to confront any terrorist attempt when it comes forward,” said the head of state.

He also ordered the defense minister, Vladimir Padrino López, to be vigilant, united and prepared for any internal or external aggression against the country by the internal oligarchy or its imperial allies.

He affirmed that the Venezuelan family has the right to peace, to work, to recovery and in that sense the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, the police forces and the People's Power have a great responsibility to guarantee the stability of the Nation.

“Only we can and together will overcome any threat and peace will triumph, for now and forever,” he said.
