Head of State announces review of international trade agreements not favorable to Venezuela

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during the first Economic Council of the year 2025, “Economic Transformation for Good Living”, announced the review of all the agreements signed by the nation to verify the terms of those commitments.

“We must review and renew all the trade agreements that Venezuela has with the world to adapt them to this new phase and for Venezuela to advance in its earning capacity, many expired agreements that were not positive for the country, to put it mildly,” said the head of state.

This is the first meeting of the year 2025 that brings together private and public businessmen to consolidate the union between the productive sector and the revolutionary Government, President Maduro arrived accompanied by the First Lady; Cilia Flores; the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and the entire Ministerial Cabinet.
