Head of State: As President of Venezuela, I demand respect for the popular will

The re-elected president, Nicolás Maduro Moros, from the People's Balcony, demanded respect for the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, for public authorities and for sovereign life.”

During his meeting with the People, which was stationed outside the presidential palace to celebrate the electoral results, the head of state demanded “respect for the popular will, this is not the first time they intend to violate the peace of the Republic, national life”.

Regarding the electoral process this Sunday, July 28 , he said that it was carried out “in an exemplary way and I can say to the People of Venezuela and the world: I am Nicolás Maduro, re-elected president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and I will defend our democracy and our people.”

He also assured that “peace, justice, stability, respect for the law” will reign in the country.
