President Nicolás Maduro, during a meeting with world religious leaders to pray for peace in Venezuela and the Caribbean in the face of threats and aggressions that threaten the sovereignty and tranquility of our Peoples, asked the churches of the United States to mediate the warmongering pretensions of his administration.

“I send a special message to every church in the United States of America, to maintain unity in Christ so that peace reigns in the world, understanding, harmony, and not hate or war. The vast majority of the American people do not want war in the world and least of all they want a war in America. So, we must unite in prayer so that the drums of war stop ringing,” said the National President.

During the meeting, he asked the faithful of the United States to join in prayer for the peace of their nation to ask for the arrest of those who order to bomb, kill and wage war in South America and the Caribbean.

“Stop the war, not war but peace,” said the Venezuelan Head of State at the Meeting of Jurists in Defense of Law.
