The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, called on the country's working class to take the lead in designing a new productive model, urging them to create their own economic plan.

“The working class must have its economic plan... And who can know more about the economy than those who produce wealth? Who can know more about the economy than us, the workers?” , he noted.

In this regard, he appointed the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, so that, together with the committee that promotes the next Constituent Congress, a Commission for the Integral Economic Development of the 13 Engines will be immediately formed, under the direction of the workers.

He emphasized that knowledge and capacity to overcome economic challenges reside in the workforce, highlighting its essential role in resisting economic war and building a new model that provides stability and growth.

“Let's learn in the whole world from everyone. We believe in Venezuela everything we need with our own technology. And let's never, ever depend on anyone in this world again.”

He asserted that the country needs to achieve total and absolute independence in economic and technological matters, through the inventiveness of the country's technologists, for their ability to repair machinery, create spare parts and solve technical problems despite the difficulties generated by the blockade.
