Head of State called for respect for the right to peace, union and cooperation between Latin American countries

President Nicolás Maduro assured parliamentarians from 38 countries attending a regional solidarity summit with Venezuela that his country is a nation that is besieged by an imperialism that wants to force a “regime change” and then plunder its wealth.

“Our brothers in Latin America and the Caribbean must know that our fight for the right to independence, sovereignty, peace and freedom in Venezuela is the fight for all of our America and our victory will also be for all of America, for the right to sovereignty, peace and against imperial lies,” said the Head of State.

He also stressed that he places his hope that Latin America, the Caribbean and the noble people of the United States can respond to fascism in time.

“Enough of threats, enough of militarism, of fascism; respect for the right to peace, union and cooperation is what we want!” , the Head of State ruled,
