The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and candidate of the Homeland, Nicolás Maduro, called on the entire People this Thursday to support the agreement to recognize the results of the elections on July 28, signed by the majority of the candidates who will participate in the elections.

From the National Electoral Council (CNE), the Head of State pointed out that “if the referee summons you are obliged as a candidate to go and listen to the referee”, referring to the absence of some representatives of the extreme right to seal this commitment against violence.

He pointed out that the signed document is “truly full of constitutional content, of values, and I say to the people of Venezuela: let's take care of peace, today we have taken a step forward to protect peace.”

The Dignitary said that the agreement “is in perfect line with the Barbados document, the document of the Caracas dialogue”, so he reiterated the call “to all Venezuelans and Venezuelans to support this document and to respect the electoral referee, the National Electoral Council, and that his word be sacred. Enough of sabotage against our country, enough of conspiracies,” he emphasized.

In this regard, he stressed that “Venezuela wants peace of mind to continue its economic recovery, to continue its social recovery. Venezuela deserves peace of mind to think about the future and to move forward.”
