Head of State: Climate emergency haunts the humble peoples of planet Earth

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, denounced that we are facing a climate emergency that significantly affects the humble peoples of the world, but that the supremacists deny, and that the competent international organizations are silent.

“There is no global response (...) Powerful movements have emerged, and I think that a global consciousness has been created that points towards a consensus that something must be done, something urgent must be done and we must do something between all the countries of the world,” said the National President at the World Congress in Defense of Mother Earth, held this Thursday, at the Municipal Theater of Caracas.

Under the foundations of Ecosocialism materialized in the country, the Head of State reported that Venezuela has experienced an exponential growth in monsoon and destructive rains, as an expression of the warming of the Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea, as a result of atmospheric conditions.

President Nicolás Maduro warned that “Venezuela is the epicenter of a threat, of a threat, but also Venezuela, the epicenter of hope. The hope of a different, better world, of another world that will be possible with the conscious effort of men and women who love life”, as a call to the peoples of the world to unite for this cause.
