The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, commemorated, through his Telegram channel, this Wednesday the 31st anniversary of Commander Hugo Chávez's release from Yare Prison.

The head of state indicated that “the Prison of Dignity, in Yare, Miranda state, a compound that became a great school and a forum for reflection for him.”
He also recalled that the leader was received “free in the streets of Caracas, it was the greatest joy, the people's slogan that day still resounds: “ Hope is in the street!”

He concluded by saying that at that moment “the beautiful journey began to tour the catacombs of the People and build this historic, popular, Bolivarian and revolutionary movement”.
