The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced this Monday that the leader of First Justice, Luis Guerra, is trying to usurp the functions of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) from abroad to destabilize the country and disrupt economic growth.

“You have to take care of Venezuela, you have to take care of the economy, so that no one messes with the economy because there are a lot of conspirators, there is a certain Luis Guerra, from Primero Justicia, who has a kind of Venezuelan economic observatory that now tries to be like the parallel Central Bank of Venezuela, so he gets the figure he wants,” warned the Head of State.

During the 61st broadcast of his program Con Maduro+, he pointed out that Guerra is comfortable outside the country “with what was stolen in Justice First (...) he who worked at one time from the revolutionary left as an infiltrator in an organization they called Revolutionary Tendency (TR) and then ended up being a spokesperson for the extreme right, for economic groups.”

He warned that “they want to mess with the positive environment that we have achieved with work”, so he urged the People and the revolutionary leaders not to allow it, because “the economic growth of the real economy is going from strength to strength, the total defeat of hyperinflation, of inflation and we are going to have the lowest inflation in 25 years. This year, growth with low inflation, high level of domestic investment, arrival of foreign investors, employment generation, improvement in the resources obtained by the family as a result of entrepreneurship,” he said.
