This Thursday, January 18, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, warned that any new attack by the opposition right “would give rise to the rise of the most powerful popular movement and would radicalize the revolution to unsuspected levels”

From the state of Miranda, on a day with the Congress of the New Epoch in the framework of the 7T debate, he assured that “only united in a single force will we overcome any conspiracy”.

“I have spoken a lot with the military, with the police and I have no doubt that in the face of these surprising terrorist alternatives that they (the right) could take, the rise of the most powerful popular movement would originate and would radicalize the revolution to unsuspected levels. I have no doubt that the people's reaction, in a civic-military union, would be overwhelming and would be pulverized from a political point of view,” he warned.

He stressed that the majority of Venezuelans want “the perpetual peace that Bolívar spoke of and we have a right to it. Together, we will defeat every stalk, for now and forever.”
