Head of State: For Venezuela it is no alternative to be a colony or to be dominated by a hegemonic country

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Tuesday, April 08, called on the United States government to respect and live with human civilizations, “we all have the right to development, equality and the future”, referring to the actions that the US empire in terms of tariffs has unleashed against the world.

He emphasized that being a slave, a colony, or being dominated by a hegemonic country is not an alternative for Venezuela or for humanity.

In this regard, he stressed that “we have entered an era beyond American hegemonism, where the world presents itself as multipolar in the technological and commercial spheres.”

“In this new economic landscape, humanity has demonstrated that its potential transcends the economy of the United States, reaffirming that Venezuela is part of this new global order to which it has belonged and will continue to belong,” he said.

At the Caracas Polyhedron, where he led the activation of the Telecommunications Engine and New Technologies, within the framework of the International Telecommunications Fair 2025, he stated that “we are driven by a gigantic love for our country, but also for humanity; a gigantic love for a different humanity”.
