Head of State: Gas distribution to the domestic market will increase tremendously in 2025

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during a working day with the National Council for Productive Economy, announced that after renovation work and investments, the national gas industry is able to increase gas production during 2025, which will increase distribution in the local market and exports.

“The gas industry is recovering after the attack at a nodal point in the gas production and distribution process last year, a terrorist attack that severely affected several regions of the country, was recovered, reinsured and this year we are going to grow tremendously in gas production for the domestic market and export, which was the great dream of our Commander Chávez,” he said.

He said that oil production exceeded one million barrels per day on average thanks to own investments and domestic labor.

“The oil industry, on average, produced 1,57,000 barrels of oil per day during the month of January. We are on our way to one million and a half thousand barrels a day. With your own efforts!” , highlighted the head of state.
