Head of State holds Popular Assembly with the Municipal Councils of Macarao

In a deployment, focused on strengthening the communal economy, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, took a tour of the Commune For Love and Loyalty to Chávez this Monday, which covers the El Volcán and La Guamacaya sectors in the Macarao parish.
The Head of State led an assembly of citizens to present the balance sheet of communal management and the State of the projects approved in the National Popular Consultations.
Among the reported achievements, the completion of the replacement of roofs and gas cylinders stands out, works prioritized by the community itself.
In addition, advances in the drinking water system (currently at 80%), the repair of elevators and the attention to leaks in general urban services will be evaluated. The agenda also includes the inspection of the court and the biosaludable park under construction, as well as the roof of the Macarao I court.
With this visit, the National President not only supervised the infrastructure works, but he also strengthened his direct link with the People's Power to accelerate responses to the needs of the sector, towards the definitive consolidation of the Government of Community Management.
The day, which was accompanied by community spokespersons Oliver Martínez and Leynis Márquez, has as its main objective to make visible the productive experiences of the area.
This Commune constitutes a bastion of popular organization, bringing together a population of 13,074 inhabitants (4,468 families), whose structure is based on the union of 14 Community Councils, including Lucha y Victoria, Rebelión 4F and El Sueño del Gigante.
