In his program With Maduro+, on the night of this Monday, June 17, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said “there are two models here; that of the oligarchy, the surnames, who want to come to finish off, to loot and to privatize everything, as they did in the era of the neoliberal night (...) and the model of recovery and development towards the future, of all companies in a way stable and progressive”.

Siderurgica del Orinoco “Alfredo Maneiro” SIDOR C.A., located in the industrial zone of Matanzas, in Ciudad Guayana, in the state of Bolívar, in the southeastern region of Venezuela, while adding “that is where the dilemma lies”.

“Who called for sanctions against basic businesses? Let everyone draw their own conclusions. If we had not maintained our strength and resistance, we would never have been able to make progress in the recovery (...) And we already have the design for the future (...) That's why I say that the worst is over, now come the times of development, growth, improvement and progress that we can only achieve by joining efforts,” he said.

During the program, Alberto Hurtado, the spokesman for the Productive Councils of Workers (CPTT), the iron and steel sector, spoke, who ratified that Nicolás is “the candidate of love, the candidate of the working class”, arguing that it is a great “pride to receive him in our Sidor” Alfredo Maneiro Sidor Sidor, a historic Sidor, of struggle, of battles and victories”.
