Head of State instructs the merger of the Great Venezuela Housing Mission and the Barrio Nuevo Tricolor Mission

The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, in his annual message to the nation, instructed the merger of the Great Venezuela Housing Mission and the Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor Mission with the objective of concentrating efforts and consolidating resources .

“We are going to build 400,000 homes and three million to fulfill the government's six-year commitment. We are going to prioritize self-construction and popular architecture,” he said.

In social matters, he pointed out that there will be a 1x10 revival of Good Governance, which aims at territorialization according to the distribution of communal circuits. “To the territory to protect to embrace to stimulate,” he said.

He also ordered the immediate creation of the National Metrobus Corporation, to optimize public transport service throughout the country.

“We are going to have a hard day of consistent activation of the bases of the new generation of Great Missions and the Great Missions created by Commander Chávez so that they are in the territory (...) In the great consolidation effort, we must create a town that is the protagonist of history within the framework of the Great Historical Bloc. We are going to create an educated, cultured people aware of their historical role,” he said.

He added that “if we have to do anything, it's a real revolution of colors, but of national colors, and a real cultural revolution.”
