Head of State: Isaías Rodríguez will always be remembered as the courageous prosecutor of the People of Venezuela

In a burning chapel from the protocol chamber of the National Assembly, this Monday the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, praised the legacy of struggle of former Attorney General Isaías Rodríguez.

“We are paying a due, truly due tribute to a sincere man, with a clean soul, with a good soul. For a man who deserves this and much more (...) Isaías Rodríguez, who will be forever remembered as the courageous prosecutor of the People of Venezuela, courageous defender of the rights of the people,” said the Head of State.

During the posthumous homage, he emphasized that, as a man of God, he believes in life beyond death. “Isaiah, I know that you are in eternal life, I know that you will become immortal and I know Isaiah wherever you see me and hear me that you will continue with us in this battle in the same brilliant, human, sensitive way in which we were able to know you.”
