Head of State leads event in defense of the sovereignty and peace of Venezuela, Latin America and the Caribbean

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, led the event in defense of the sovereignty of Venezuela, Latin America and the Caribbean as territories of peace.

From the elliptical hall of the National Assembly, political representatives of various political tendencies gathered to read a manifesto on behalf of the Venezuelan people to support the defense of the Homeland.

The event, convened by the Legislative Branch, brings together senior State authorities. The National President was accompanied by the first lady, Cilia Flores; the president of the AN, Jorge Rodríguez; and the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez.

This session of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly was attended by deputies of Parliament, representatives of the Public Powers, members of the Executive Cabinet, the Superior General Staff of the FANB and leaders of the parties that make up the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar.

The call also includes rectors from the country's main universities, as well as representatives from the business, banking, financial and religious sectors.
