Head of State: Life has tested us, but in Venezuela we are blessed!

“Life has tested us, but we are blessed!” , said this Sunday the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros.

“We are focused on addressing our country's problems. We have summoned all the forces with a plan; we are not stopping working on the path of the new economic model. What we have achieved is thanks to you: businessmen, workers, entrepreneurs, scientists and the people,” he said on his Telegram account.

He pointed out that the trials and difficulties that seemed insurmountable were overcome by a people of faith. “We are a blessed people and the tests that life put on us, when they wanted to take away our sovereignty and independence, we have overcome them, we are a blessed people,” he reiterated.

“We don't rest to work for our country and we can say, 20 continuous quarters of sustained growth is a miracle, but the miracle was done by you, businessmen, workers, scientists, scientists, scientists,” he said in the audiovisual, with historical images of popular resistance in the last months of the year that is coming to an end.

He recalled that several generations of Venezuelans and Venezuelans of different ideologies fought and dreamed of the reality that we all enjoy today, and that path was marked since he was very young by the then captain and now infinite commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías.

“Venezuela has taken its path, we have our path and a new economic model (...) They will never be able to handle us. Long live happiness, long live life, long live Venezuela!”
