Head of State: More than 12 thousand volunteers will attend the Mostacho Fest Nuestra Patria Community Vacation Plan

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that more than 12 thousand volunteers will participate in the XVI Mostacho Fest Community Vacation Plan “Our Homeland” to serve more than 4 million 500 thousand children and adolescents.

This was stated during the beginning of the activities of these days, which will last six weeks and in which 35 institutions that are part of the National Recreation Board for Living Living will participate in 4,000 communities in the country that are divided into Communes and Community Councils.

“We are the country of joy, of peace. Because we live for joy (...) in other countries people live to work, only and they have neither rumba, nor Friday, nor recreation. We work to live: to live by living, with harmony and social happiness,” he said.

The Head of State added that “no country has this, perhaps Cuba and Nicaragua, no youth in Latin America has any State plans to assist them. These plans created by the Bolivarian Revolution are aimed at giving young people options for recreation and healthy recreation, never did our generation have this opportunity.”
