Head of State: More than 200 municipal wineries in the capital have national production

On Monday night, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reported that more than 200 communal wineries in the capital region are supplied with domestic production.

In the presentation of the Balance of the Productive Engines of Venezuela 2025, he noted that this distribution plan, which he called “the conquest of the minds and hearts of our people”, has taken protein as an indispensable food in the diet of the Venezuelan people.

He explained that the foods that are being produced in the country are healthy and organic, in which the use of chemical products, especially pesticides, is avoided at all costs.

For his part, the minister of popular power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado, specified that “we are directly impacting our communities, because we are taking a 50% discount compared to the capitalist market.”
