Head of State: More than 2,000 artists performed at the III International Progressive Theater Festival

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, praised the event where more than 2,000 artists performed simultaneously.
“It's a great achievement, theater, because it brought together literature, poetry and all forms of aesthetic expression,” said the Head of State when talking about the 3rd International Progressive Theater Festival (FITP) 2024, which brought together artistic groups from 21 invited countries and more than 800 artistic performances in the country.
The festival was held from March 21 to 31 and had Cuba as its guest of honor, with its great heritage in the field of performing arts.
In addition, in this edition, the FITP was attended by groups from Argentina, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Congo, Spain, India, Italy, Mexico, Palestine, Dominican Republic, Russia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, South Africa, Tunisia, Uruguay and Venezuela.
