The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed this Friday that the nation will always be part of the global energy equation, despite attacks against the national hydrocarbon industry.
During the closing of the First International Congress of Entrepreneurs, at the La Carlota Convention Center, in Caracas, the Head of State recalled that “Venezuela is certifying the fourth gas reserve in the world, in the entire northern Caribbean strip of our country”.
In this regard, he reiterated that the South American nation “is part, will be part and no one will be able to remove us from the global equation of energy security and sovereignty, but now with God's favor, with wise policies, with correct strategies and with the efforts of all of society.”
The Dignitary pointed out that the Bolivarian Government will not make the same mistake of past administrations of depending on oil revenues. “We will not make our country's economy dependent on a single engine, that of hydrocarbons. Now they will have to follow their consistent and harmonious process, the development of the entire economy that produces goods, services, wealth and that meets the national need and that develops their multiple, diverse export vocation, the vocation is a carrier. That's where the Entrepreneurship Engine is registered,” he said.
