Head of State: Oil production will continue to grow with its own efforts and whoever wants to come, welcome!

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated that the Venezuelan oil industry is producing through effort, capital and its own technology, open to international investment by companies that are willing to join the growth of this strategic sector of the national economy.

“Venezuela is prepared in all its thirteen economic engines, but especially in hydrocarbon. Whoever wants to come and produce with us has open doors, red carpet and loving hugs, whoever wants to come, whoever cannot come because they are forbidden to do so, we are very sorry, but we will continue to produce”, stressed the Head of State.

He also highlighted that, according to official data, Venezuela achieved an average production of 1 million 58 thousand barrels of oil per day in February and is expected to continue to rise in March.

“With the largest oil reserves in the world, and using internationally validated techniques, these reserves are constantly increasing. We are in a process of new certifications and findings that place Venezuela at a higher level in terms of reserves,” said the National President.
