This Sunday, during the closing ceremony of the Great Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc of the 21st Century, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, referred to the recent attacks carried out against the refinery system in the country and warned that these actions seek to cause discomfort and affect political stability and peace in the country.
“Look at the attacks we had this week. A bomb against a refinery in the West, an attack and explosion of a refinery in the East and the attack on the country's nodal center for gas production and distribution in Monagas, to generate crises, problems in public services, electricity and affect political stability,” he said.
He urged to be alert to these events, which he said are part of imperialism's permanent conspiracy plans in its quest to overthrow the Bolivarian Revolution.
“What is imperialism most looking for against Venezuela? Affect political stability, maintain a permanent conspiracy,” he said.
