The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed this Thursday that the neutralization of the criminal alias Wilexis, an ally of the extreme right, was “yet another achievement of the Bolivarian Shield and of the popular-military-police fusion, peace for the people, peace for Caracas and the entire country.”

From the People's Balcony of the Miraflores Palace, where he received the march commemorating the 67th anniversary of the civic-military rebellion of January 23, the Head of State reported that the criminal gangs operating in Venezuela were fueled by Colombian narco-paramilitarism.

“Who sent the drugs to the Koki in Cota 905? Who sent the drugs to the Picure on the Tren del Llano? Who sent him the drugs and fed the Aragua Train? (Ivan) Duque and (Álvaro) Uribe. And who fought and killed the Koki, the Picure and the Aragua Train? The Bolivarian Revolution,” emphasized the Dignitary.

He pointed out that when Venezuela defeated criminal groups in the country, the region's ultra-right governments took them away and expanded them. “It was the extremist anti-Bolivarian right that fueled their hopes in a massive attack, in an invasion of criminals into Venezuela, and then, when they were defeated by us, they took it away and expanded it over their lands,” he explained.
