Head of State ordered the replacement of tariffs by SAREN for the constitution of churches

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, issued instructions to implement a special plan for religious activities in the country, to overcome obstacles that arise from the bureaucratic point of view, before the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, in the Directorate of Religious Affairs for legal purposes.

The head of state said that they propose “the replacement of tariffs by SAREN for the constitution of churches, reducing the value of fees because they are currently valued as companies and commercial establishments and the reduction of the collection of state and municipal taxes.”

“They eliminate that once and for all,” he ordered while also proposing an agreement with governors and mayors to reduce the collection of state and municipal taxes, “the churches are there to help the people and we are there to help the churches.”

The guidelines were made by the head of state, from the boardwalk of the Historic Quarter of Puerto Cabello, in the state of Carabobo, he led a meeting with Christian shepherds and shepherds.
