Head of State: Petare Coliseum will become a sports and cultural center in the Sucre municipality

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, authorized that the first project to be financed through the Special Human City Fund for Good Living, will be for the rehabilitation of The Petare Coliseum, to turn it into the new sports, cultural and event center of the Sucre municipality in Caracas, for the recreation of communities.

In this regard, he stressed that Venezuela is beginning, “a new era of community and neighborhood works with 'Together Everything Is Possible'”.

For this reason, he considered the proposal of the communities of Petare excellent, regarding The Coliseum, “I totally agree that we should convert The Petare Coliseum, the great center of culture, music, dance and theater of the communities of the Sucre municipality and beyond”.

The head of state added that “tomorrow at 7:00 in the morning, Minister Coronado's team and that of “Together Everything Is Possible” will be at work”.

“Besides, the Point and Circle, not just The Colosseum. It is a new phase, to seek new instruments and continue to move forward, step by step we are going far, taking care of education, health, water, roads, housing, citizen security, peace (...) building a society of supportive men and women,” he said.

The objective of the Human City Special Fund for Good Living is for the Corporation “Together Everything Is Possible” to be active throughout the national territory, in order to build various quality works with their respective guarantee and supervision contract.
