Head of State receives parchment called The Route of the Heroines

This Saturday, March 08, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received a scroll called “The Route of the Heroines” from the Nubian fighter Infante, which toured the entire national territory to reflect the commitment of Venezuelan women in the revolutionary struggle.

“This scroll toured all the states, in the 24 states including Guiana Essequiba, where the country's leaders committed themselves to being good women, who build dreams and who work for our country and families,” said Infante.

Namely, it is an emblematic text by Josefa Joaquina Sánchez. “Generation after generation, women and even citizenship were denied the front row (...) Today we begin this social reconstruction of the participation of Venezuelan women in the war of independence because we too made and are making history.”
