Head of State regretted physical departure of William Delahunt

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro,
regretted the physical departure of William Delahunt.
“Honor and glory. He was a very intelligent man who loved our country and who built bridges. He always believed in the need for the United States to abandon its policy of interventionism against Venezuela,” he highlighted this Monday in his program Con Maduro+.
The former congressman from Massachusetts, United States (USA), William D. Delahunt, died at 82 years of age after a long illness, his family announced. In this regard, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, recalled him as a “great friend of Venezuela”.
In turn, he recalled his participation in the founding of the Boston Group, “a Venezuelan American parliamentary body in which we accumulated great experiences to unite the peoples of the United States and Venezuela.”
