The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, backed this Wednesday the vast majority of the population that rejects any military intervention against the Homeland, promoted by the national and international extreme right.
“There are those without reason, deranged and deranged from Venezuelan fascism and Colombian paramilitarism who are calling for a military invasion of Venezuela. They don't know what they're saying,” the Head of State criticized from the Teresa Carreño Theater, during his Annual Message to the Nation.
He confirmed that it adds “to the unitary clamor, to the powerful voice of all Venezuelan society that has rejected the call for a military invasion made by Álvaro Uribe Vélez, Iván Duque, Leopoldo López and María Corina Machado against Venezuela. Drums of change are ringing in the world and we are marching at a safe pace.”
