From the El Gran Topo Agrotourism District, located in the Colina Bella sector, of the Caracas-La Guaira Highway, to monitor progress in food production and the development of the important community tourist hostel project, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reiterated that Venezuela is a country totally free of drug trafficking.

He indicated that the constant threats of the North American Empire, which failed to accuse Venezuela or its President of possessing weapons of mass destruction or of building a nuclear weapon, are now “inventing an extravagant, vulgar, totally false story”, such as being a country that produces cocaine.

The Head of State insisted that this theory is demonstrably false and specified that it is a great achievement of the military, police and national intelligence and counterintelligence forces, that Venezuela is a drug-free territory. “Since we broke with the DEA, the world's largest drug cartel, the DEA, Venezuela has been able to move forward autonomously and in a sovereign manner in a strategy. And today Venezuela is a country totally free of drug trafficking and all those things,” he informed the entire community present and international guests.
