This Friday, September 20, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, signed the Decree to proceed with the installation of the National Center for Crafts, which is the body that articulates and supports the Venezuelan Artisan Movement.

The decision was announced at La Casona Cultural Aquiles Nazoa, where he led the Meeting with the state promotion teams of the Great Mission “Long Live Venezuela, My Dear Homeland” and made a series of announcements about the seven vertices of this mission.

In the activity, he emphasized that Venezuela is fighting for its right to peace, to the future and to happiness, these are key elements in the face of the great threats and sieges that currently exist against the country.

He also stressed that there has been a brutal siege against artists, “threats that we already know, we've seen this film in the past when the first outbreaks of hate from the extreme right appeared, back in 2002. How many were persecuted for singing to the fatherland. We had experienced it before, and Ali Primera lived it.”
