Head of State: The CBBI are organizations dedicated to the defense of democracy

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela highlighted the formation of the Integral Base Bolivarian Committees (CBBI), which emerged after the Party Congress, as the first step in an evolutionary and revolutionary organizational strategy for the defense of democracy.

Regarding a meeting with the management of the red awning, in San Bernardino, Caracas, he stressed that these structures have a collective character and that for this reason they are called “committees”.

He specified that, with this, we move on to superior, collective and teamwork, in every street in the country, with an agenda of social, political, training, education and permanent ideologization.

On the other hand, the National President explained that this new organizational form is “Bolivarian” because it has its genesis in the synthesis of the processes of American emancipation, of indigenous resistance and the cause led by the Liberator Simon Bolivar.

He also explained that they are “integrally based” because they are born on the street, they obey the people and assume their self-formation.

After holding street meetings this Saturday and Sunday for the formation of the CBBI, the head of state announced that the process will continue this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with a view to covering 264,000 streets in the national territory.

In this regard, she projected that between 70% and 80% of these committees will be led by women.
