Head of State: The electoral power has the autonomy to invite international observers

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that the Electoral Power has “sufficient autonomy to invite whoever it wishes as an international observer of the electoral process on July 28.”

From his Con Maduro+ program, held in the city of Maturín, Monagas state, the head of state added “that the councilors who want to come come, respecting the Constitution and the sovereignty of Venezuela”.

In the same vein, he recalled that the National Electoral Council (CNE) invited to the country observers from the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), the BRICS, the United Nations (UN) and the European Union for the next presidential election to be held on July 28.
