This Friday, August 16, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the world's fascist right seeks to dissolve the values of humanity and the concept of family, as a fundamental nucleus for building a society.

“That's why it's so important that Christian Churches continue to strengthen educational processes between girls and boys, that they don't give up, don't get tired, or let themselves be overwhelmed by social networks,” he stressed.

He stated that it is of the utmost importance that “we fight as a nation, where Christian churches and also my Catholic brothers, in the name of Christ, make an effort for national values, to educate girls and boys.”

The National President emphasized that unlike the extremist opposition that seeks young people to use them in their plans to generate violence, “while there are those who are looking for young people, almost children, to burn and kill, we have to seek them for good, education, culture, life, sharing, family.”

The approach was made at the Miraflores Palace, where he led a Meeting with Christian Leaders and Leaders within the framework of building peace in Venezuela.

“In those acts of violence we saw very young people, who fell into the temptation of the devil and received their money, drugs and went out to burn down hospitals, schools, kill people,” he recalled.

Faced with these facts, he stressed that these actions are not legitimate protests, “that is not a protest, that is terrorism, but Venezuelan society could do more than the violent ones and in 48 hours peace was restored.”

“Venezuela is at peace, blessed,” he said.
