The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that “a man has not been born and will not be born who brings the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the heroic Venezuelan people to their knees.”
The head of state called on all the Venezuelan people, to Venezuelan mothers to unite in prayer to achieve the release of the girl Maikelys Espinoza.
“This isn't about differences in colors or parties, here it's about coming together in one voice. I am sure that we will see the 253 Venezuelans and little Maikelys Espinoza walking again through the streets of Venezuela, rebuilding their lives,” he said.
This was stated in Miranda state, on the occasion of the Great March of the Working Class, to commemorate May 1, International Workers' Day dedicated to the release of the girl Maikelys Espinoza, kidnapped by the United States government and the compatriots kidnapped in El Salvador.
“We have to be grateful to God for giving us this blessed land, for giving us this cultured, organized, empowered, patriotic, revolutionary people. We have to thank God to give us victory in all the scenarios we have had to face,” he said.
He said that we must ask God, “above all else, to give us the wisdom and intelligence to soon have in Venezuela and hand this beautiful girl Maikelys Espinoza into her arms to her mother.”
He also said that he would pray to God so that “very soon we will also have in Venezuela the 253 Venezuelans kidnapped in the concentration camps of Nayib 'Mengele'. God is watching you and you know that you have committed one of the most serious errors of human rights violation, forced disappearance and kidnapping.”
“Sooner rather than later, there will be justice and we will have our boys here, free, safe and sound,” he said.
