Head of State: The real Workers' Revolution in Venezuela is taking place right now

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, congratulated the constituentist process that the Venezuelan working class is currently active, after the achievement of a significant number of meetings held for its new organization.

“This is indeed a true workers' revolution, this is the essence of our revolution, democracy, leadership, participation and grassroots power. You have to have a conscience, comrades, the power that each one of you has,” said the Head of State.

In addition, President Maduro reported that since October 23, workplaces have summoned their colleagues to meetings and to date they have held 28 meetings in 28 days, “unique in the history of the labor movement in Venezuela, 10,289 grassroots meetings and 30,689 delegates have been elected.”

The head of state highlighted that 57% of the delegates appointed are men, with 43% being women delegates, “women who bring candles, compadres”, he pointed out as an achievement and inclusion of the female gender in spaces historically represented by men.
