Head of State: The Second Popular Consultation will facilitate the de-bureaucratization of the Government and the State

It is extremely important to reinforce participation mechanisms by strengthening grassroots leadership, the capacity for self-government and to advance the idea of true democracy, which is community democracy, “it is direct democracy”, as emphasized on Thursday, August 8, by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

It ratified the call for next Sunday, August 25, for the Second National Popular Consultation 2024, for the projects of the 4,500 communal circuits.

In that regard, he recalled his commitment to implement an accelerated phase of the de-bureaucratization of the Bolivarian Government and the Venezuelan State, “this will allow us to advance in direct government with the people.”

He emphasized that it was necessary “they are going to give us help to de-bureaucratize all the Ministries and put the batteries on all the officials and change everything we have to change and that the resources of the Budget go directly to the communities.”

“We must motivate the apathetic, incorporating the critic, uniting everything that can be united to consolidate basic territorial democracy,” he stressed at the Miraflores Palace, where he received the mobilization of the Communes and Social Movements, in defense of peace and in defense of his presidential re-election.
