Head of State: The triumph of the Battle of Carabobo belongs to all of Latin America and the Caribbean

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that due to the importance it had for the freedom of the South American region and the Caribbean, the victory in the Battle of Carabobo belongs to the Peoples of our continent.

“The victory in the Battle of Carabobo is not only for Venezuela, it is for our entire Latin and Caribbean America. That's where the birth of the great homeland began,” said the national president during a message broadcast on radio and television.

He added that Liberator Simón Bolívar implied this when he said: “the triumph of Carabobo is the triumph of Colombia's weapons.”

In this regard, he reiterated that this fight is not over and is expressed in the battle against new forms of domination, with criminal sanctions, blockades, psychological warfare, hybrid wars and even a threat of world war,” he said.
